Ii MUSEUM is the private art museum of the the armor&sword speciality which is proud of the greatest scale in JAPAN.
Many of exhibits (armor,sword,old documents etc.) are collected by Mr.TATSUO　II who is armor and sword historian investigator. Others are things that owners allowed to exhibit in museum and they are kept in MUSEUM for research and investigation.
TATSUO II(proprietor of museum) is the historical investigation specialist of armor, so difference from other museum is that we think the relation and history of items as important and we put power into historical investigation.
TATSUO　II established KYOTO SENJIN　BUGU SHIRYOKAN 20years ago,but it was opened only for specialists,and it was not opened to the public..
There was many request to open to the public. at last ,he opened MUSEUM in 1999.
Since then , we have held special exhibition which determined the theme every year.
